Did you ever go to a resturant and see a dollar bill framed on the wall? That dollar bill is probably the first dollar bill the restaurant ever made. And, instead of depositing the dollar bill, they saved and framed it.

This first dollar bill was a milestone for the restaurant. It meant that they were officially in business. Maybe, after the restaurant makes 1 million dollars, they will frame another dollar bill, the one that resulted in the millionth dollar.

It is important to have milestones you want to accomplish, to remember your goals, and to take a step back and enjoy the goals once you reach them. By placing your first check on the wall, or by setting a goal that you strieve to achieve, you will keep yourself on track and push yourself to greatness.

So, when you get that first affiliate check, photocopy it and save it. Or, when you for the first time get 20 people in your store at once, take a picture. You need to save your milestones, take time to be proud of them - and then strive for more. So, if you reach a goal, and you are excited about it, frame it, and put it up in your office or store or place of work. Just like the local restaurant did.
