When
choosing a direct sales company to join ask your self:
Can I
afford the start up kit fee?
Can I see
myself using these products every month a year from now?
Can I see
my self still telling others about them every month a year from now?
What product or service are they selling? (there must be one or the
other)
Can I
afford the ongoing cost of the business? (web hosting, inventory,
prints, postage, ads)
What is
the companies reputation? Can I be proud of that?
Is there
a monthly minimum cost/fee? Can I afford it? What do I get for it?
Is there training available? Offline, online, or in person?
Am I willing to spend time every day 5 days a week to make this business
work?
Am I willing to take the time to build business relationships and obtain
customers?
Am I willing to make follow up customer service and sales calls for this
company?
Am I willing to take the time to do events/parties/classes/fairs for
this business?
Do I have
the cash flow to get me through the first year?
Am I
prepared to give it a full year trial not just a month or two?
Can I be passionate about telling others about this business?
If you can answer yes to all of these questions then it is probably the
business for you? If you answered no to any of these questions to you
need to do further research. Having a home business is a great way to
bring added income into your family and to be able to write off expenses
and save on taxes. Home business however is a commitment and takes time
and money to get started. Can you give it both to succeed?
