15:28:03 [BusyWoman] 1. Sometimes you have to lose a little money (or a lot,
depending on your point of view) to keep a good customer.
15:28:06 [kaygreen] most people are afraid to pick up the phone and lose a bunch
of business they could have if they stepped out of their comfort zone
15:28:14 [BusyWoman] 2. Block out sections of your time each day to make at
least 5 phone calls.
15:28:24 [BusyWoman] 3. If you’re a talker, use a timer set to 4 min. (or the
amount of time you’ll allow for each call). This will give you a ball park of
how much time it will take to complete the five phone calls and help you stay on
track.

through.

try to get the focus back onto your customer. (Example: Cust – How’s your
family? Sales Rep – Fine, Jimmy had a little cold, but he’s better now. My

children?)

the things you have to do the next week. This helps you have a clear mind for

relationships I have made (business, customers, etc.) than anything else.

I know - I get orders from people who saw me somewhere or saw my listing
somewhere or who did a search on Google for my products

the importance of having ID on their kids at all times

looked into that? That would be a prefect expo for you.

them wholesale to little retail shops (making calls there)

15:50:48 [annelise] I did a couple of events with the oils. I need to find more
that aren't too expensive and get better at figuring out how to present the
stuff.

home parties, classes
15:51:05 [sewnaunt] There is very little locally, but I do fairs and
consignments

interest in having one, but haven't yet. I had scheduled a first one for my
house, but it was for just the same time as all $#&( broke loose there so it
didn't happen

Anything we can do that get's us in front of a customer is best. People like to
do biz with people.

essential oils in the various local adult ed programs, I might be able to do one
of those. Or get back to teaching web site building at them. That was fun.

After you build a clientele and have lots of business it is not so important

people I run into. Not unless they give me an obvious opening

- store clerks etc.

more likely to have a need or interest that would help. Wahm boards are good for
your products, but not so good for mine plus I'm wah, but not mom.

could sell your product

out what to do and to do it. I just got a bit derailed with a couple months of
continual harassment so I couldn't think or do much of anything and then all the
moving. It should be a lot better soon.
